Welcome to the Serengeti, where lionesses prowl at dawn and thousands of zebra huddle together;
where hooves kick up dust as over a million join the great wildebeest migration; where every moment brings an evocative scene. This privately guided luxury safari celebrates the abundance and diversity of the Serengeti, showcasing the famous plains from every different angle. With eclectic activities and luxury accommodations, it’s a perfect journey amongst Africa’s greatest natural show.
You will land at Kilimanjaro Airport in Arusha to start your African adventure. On a clear day, the views from the lodge are outstanding, the snow-capped peaks of Kilimanjaro and Mt Meru towering over the surrounding savannah. With birds singing from the lush treetops, this is an idyllic place to overcome any jet lag. As you settle into Tanzania you’ll notice that everything moves with a relaxed rhythm. Enjoy a guided walk coffee in coffee plantation.
Flying into the Serengeti is a special experience, the plains opening out beneath the wingtips as you descend onto a remote airstrip. Sometimes the runway has to be cleared of wildlife, an indication of the remoteness of the landscape. Touch down on the plains, and you’re immediately surrounded by wildlife, with zebra and wildebeest herds dappled across the panorama. It’s a short game drive to your safari
camp, an elegant and unpretentious camp that is all about the wildlife experience.
There’s always drama on a game drive, either big cats prowling around or battles within herds. But there’s also charm as you discover the intimate details.

You spend the full day on a game drive, crossing great swathes of the Serengeti and reveling in its unadulterated scale. It’s perhaps possible to picture a hundred zebra. Maybe even a thousand. But tens of thousands? Even after witnessing this phenomenon, it seems unfathomable. Take a picnic lunch with you and stop regularly along the way, including many pools inhabited by hippos. Wait for the hippos to yawn for an iconic photo, and then continue across the grasslands to find giant elephant bulls on their nomadic journeys. Drive amongst the wildebeest then watch a herd of Thompson’s gazelle scatters as they skip towards the burning African sun.
After breakfast, you will transfer across the Serengeti to a gorgeous camp pinned in the wilderness a mere 30 minutes from the Mara River in the Northern Serengeti. The camp’s modern mixture of traditional furnishings creates an extraordinary conceptual home set amongst the untamed surroundings, and you will spend your afternoon soaking up the scenery from your patio. You will also enjoy a thrilling
exploration of the Northern Serengeti, traveling across vast open plains to catch a glimpse of the phenomenal creatures wandering the rugged terrain.
The great Serengeti is a diverse wilderness destination, and you will spend your second day here discovering as much of the local wildlife and spectacular environments as possible. Home to massive hippos that wallow in the shallow rivers, herds of buffalo that gather around waterholes, and members of Africa’s famous Big Five, your safari drives across the Serengeti will share incredible game encounters. In the afternoon, you may capture the scenes from the sky during a high-flying hot air balloon tour (optional
activity) with a glass of champagne awaiting you on the ground.

As you wake up on the final day of your Tanzanian vacation, you will catch wafts of breakfast cooking on the flames emanating from the campfire and hear the symphony of nature rising with the African sun. As you step onto your patio and take a deep breath of fresh air, you will feel at peace while watching animals wander the bush beyond your suite. After breakfast, you will collect your things, meet your
private transfer, partake in one final morning safari, and head for the airport to catch your flight back to Arusha, then transfer to Kilimanjaro for international flight back home.
